In 2006 we created our award winning Dessert merlot by selecting a parcel of our 2005 vintage which was fortified by using a selrected brandy. The Encore consists of our last barrel of this wine which was laid down for a further four years allowing the wine and brandy to further integrate and develop into an excellent after dinner accokpaniment for either cheese or a chocolate based dessert

This gentle, elegant vintage displays true Merlot characteristics with distinctive plum and spice flavours. Enjoyable on its own, it will accompany game, lamb, pasta and lightly spiced dishes to perfection.
