2008 Barrell Fermented Chardonnay

Quality fruit, hand picked, whole bunch pressed and cool fermented in new American oak with extended lees contact has produced a wine with a bright and enticing appearance. The nose displays tropical fruits with a hint of spice. This chardonnay is full bodied in style with a creamy lees influence. Stone fruit flavours such as nectarine are wrapped with warm and pleasant alcohol. A hint of lime leads a lengthy vanilla oak finish. 2010 available June 2011
